Mom's Italian Meatballs with red sauce in 9 easy steps.

Had a little wine that needed to be drank and a hankering for mom’s meatballs (which is pretty much all the time) so thought it be fun to put together this little video. I grew up with this recipe, which was passed down from my grandmother to my ma, and will be passed down to my kids as well. It’s easy, and will always satisfy.

This might not be from the Italy in Bocca series, but you can find the soul of it in many different regions. Polpettini, or Ragú, will get you close, but this is a traditional Neapolitan red sauce that I think a lot of Italian Americans will recognise. The thing I love so much about this cookbook series is how authentic they are, and how all the recipes originate from the home. Well this recipe definitely follows that legacy, and comes right from my home to yours. Bon Ap’!
