Mr. Paradise & Brindle Room Chef Jeremy Spector Talks Rare Italian Cookbooks with Italy In Bocca π
I met jeremy through his burger that literally changed my life. Heβs the amazing chef behind the Brindle Room and Mr. Paradise, classically trained but with full street cred, and one of the most talented guys on the scene so I was super jazzed to interview him about Italy In Bocca, a series of 20 cardboard bound, illustrated Italian cookbooks printed by Il Vespro in 1976. These books are magical, from their story, to their art, and right down to their amazing, unique and delicious recipes. They have been an inspiration to us, and have connected us to some of the most fantastic people, bringing us together and closer to a country that has given us so much, Italy. This is an ongoing interview series with chefs, celebrities, epicureans, and just interesting people, to learn what these books mean to them, how their relationship with food has changed during the quarantine, and to just check in and get a bit inspired.
