Novelist and New York Times Journalist Andrew Cotta Talks Rare Italian Cookbooks with Italy In Bocca ๐Ÿ…

Today weโ€™re talking with award-winning author of three fantastic novels, Andrew Cotto, who is a regular contributor to the NYT, Rolling Stones magazine, Conde Nast and many more. Heโ€™s lived my dream of just packing up and moving to a small Italian town to write the great wanderlust novel, so I was super jazzed to interview him about Italy In Bocca, a series of 20 cardboard bound, illustrated Italian cookbooks printed by Il Vespro in 1976 which has inspired me to do the same. These books are magical, from their story, to their art, and right down to their amazing, unique and delicious recipes. They have been an inspiration to us, and have connected us to some of the most fantastic people, bringing us together and closer to a country that has given us so much, Italy. This is an ongoing interview series with chefs, celebrities, epicureans, and just interesting people, to learn what these books mean to them, how their relationship with food has changed during the quarantine, and to just check in and get a bit inspired.
