La Cucina Italiana & Italy in Bocca
Happy to share a beautiful article published on La Cucina Italiana a blog dedicated to the best in Italian food and culture, written by the ubër talented Andrew Cotto, who knows a thing about living and eating Italian.
The film “In Bocca” is a brilliant tribute to the books themselves, but, more importantly, it celebrates the love of Italian food and the humanism that best define Roberto and Peter not only as individuals but as friends.
It really is a great article that gets to the heart of this whole crazy project: friendship. What’s so crazy is how big this whole thing has gotten, not from a notoriety standpoint, but how important it has become to us and those that have discovered it as well. We did this really just out of the love of good food, Italian culture, and great friends. The amazing people that this project has connected us with has been unreal; especially in a time when the world is suffering in unique and disturbing ways. When we needed connectivity more then anything it’s been a blessing, and that means everything.
We love these little, funky books. We love the food and stories in them. More then anything we love bringing them to life and sharing them. There is nothing better then a table full of friends and food.
Thanks Andrew for being enchanted like we were with this little story. Thanks for taking the time to write such beautiful words, and thanks La Cucina Italiana for sharing it. It brings us tremendous joy.
